My thoughts for this season… seriously dangerous femininity!

For this season we are seeing incredibly classy, chic styles, dynamic designs in high boots, ankle booties and stiletto heels for women. Another season of the point toe has taken form adding that slender, elongated touch to all designs. Many designers continue to feature the tall over the knee boot within their collections as it offers style and luxury, fitting like a second skin. The height of the boot is combined with different heights in heels, from block flat boots to stiletto 13cm heels. The look trends from day to evening making every outfit that touch more glamorous when paired with these babies. Mary-Kyri Shoes has an amazing over the knee leather stretch boot with lacing up the centre back and contrasting patterned snake skin. Check it out!

High ankle cut lace up shoes with asymmetric back design lines were seen walking the catwalks at both Gucci and Mary-Kyri. Lacing at both the front and back of designs have been a major trend creating a very strong look.

Leather seems to be incredibly highly polished giving a very clean classic look. Another trend at fall collections is the snakeskin boots. Designers are introducing snakeskin into their catwalks in a big way this Fall. Gucci presented some totally fab snakeskin boots in black, burnt orange and pink. A totally classic design, introduces fabulous shots of colour and leather.

Colour palettes include wine purple, orange rust, moss green, blue and a range of lovely, delicate blues.

Design lines display alternate heights in edging creating dynamic appeal. Uniqueness is found in cutaway designs where inserts and left open to show skin illustrating femininity within Fall designs.

There is no escaping the high heeled wedge boot this season which is combined with over the knee styling or seen as an ankle style. Contrast piping, brushed leathers, polished leathers, snakeskin leathers are all seen throughout designers’ collections this season as the leading trend in materials and components.

Mary-Kyri worked in the factory, learning every aspect of high fashion shoe manufacture and began to design her first collection. ‘Virago’ was released in Australia and New Zealand in March 2006 and the brand has developed an international reputation for producing beautiful, distinct, high fashion stilettos, flats, sandals and boots that are also extremely comfortable.

The MARY-KYRI collections are now stocked in prestigious boutiques and department stores around the world alongside Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin and Guiseppe Zanotti and have been featured in International and Australian top fashion magazines including; Vogue, Instyle, Cosmopolitan, Studio Magazines, Grazia, Karen Magazine, Ultimate Accessories Guide New York, Collezioni Italia, Italia Bride and many more.
