The Quentin Blake Treasury

A – MAZ – ING!

Oh my goodness!  I think I love this book more than my boys do, if that is possible.  Right from the start they were laughing out loud at the ‘Hooter Song’ … too funny!  There are all sorts of rhymes, a whole section dedicated to the A, B, C’s, wonderful stories like Mister Magnolia with only one boot!  Something for every kid in here (and adult)!

This book takes me way back to my childhood, even though some of the stories and rhymes are new to me … Quentin Blake illustrated for the Roald Dahl books, so this book was like an old friend but a new one!  It is a collection of his best loved characters, classic stories and marvellous rhymes – nine picture books together for the first time in a treasury to be shared and enjoyed by all.

It is hard cover and packed with great reads that will take some time to get through, especially when I am reading to a three and six year old, which makes it even better.  What can I say really, other than this is a precious book in our house already.  One to be cherised and cared for, so that future children and grandchildren may enjoy it too.  287 pages of AWESOME!

To order a couple simply go online to Mighty Ape (RRP $49.99 but currently on special for just $44.99) …. click here to order
